Voxelis con\u00e7oit des syst\u00e8mes certifi\u00e9s, mont\u00e9s sur a\u00e9ronefs, utilis\u00e9s pour la lutte contre les feux de for\u00eat, les services publics et d\u2019autres missions. A licensed helicopter pilot since 2016, Dan has spent countless hours on patrol missions for clients including Southern California Edison, KYLGE, Spire Energy, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.<\/p>\n<p>Before founding hMGrey, Dan spent over a decade building automation products as the founder of happyMedium LLC, a digital product agency based in St. Louis, Missouri. At hM Dan led a team of 25 engineers and designers developing mobile commerce solutions, SaaS software, industrial imaging systems, and IoT hardware\u2014earning 2 patents along the way. That same approach to rapid prototyping and product development now powers hMGrey&#8217;s inspection technology.<\/p>\n<p>Dan started hMGrey to fix the inefficient traditional visual inspection and LiDAR data collection methods used by engineering firms. After countless hours and thousands of miles of transmission lines, he realized that human observers couldn&#8217;t possibly catch every worn insulator, every missing cotter pin, every encroaching tree. With hardware and software products designed specifically for infrastructure inspection, pilots can focus on keeping a sterile cockpit while the LiDAR and camera systems work autonomously to detect worn or broken components in real time\u2014building and transmitting reports while airborne, not days or weeks after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Colin O&#8217;Neill<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colin O\u2019Neill is the Co-Founder and CEO of Voxelis AI, an aerospace technology company developing edge-based sensing and AI systems designed for deployment on operational helicopters. Voxelis builds certified, aircraft-mounted systems used in wildfire, utility, and other missions, focusing on bringing AI inference compute and capabilities to airborne missions and environments with limited connectivity and high operational consequence.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to Voxelis, Colin co-founded Taeron Systems in 2017, a Transport Canada approved manufacturer specializing in aerospace hardware design and manufacturing for civil and government customers. Voxelis was spun out of Taeron, building on years of experience designing, manufacturing, and supporting certified aviation hardware. Across both companies, Colin led product development delivering fielded systems to global customers.<\/p>\n<p>Colin is a commercial helicopter and glider pilot, and his operational background directly informs how systems are designed, integrated, and deployed in real aviation environments.
