Join\u00a0Marilyn Pearson<\/strong>\u00a0in identifying the challenges to pilot training and operations in the new AAM realm. What will the new pilots need to be qualified and what are the regulatory challenges as we look toward integrating these new pilots and aircraft operations into the National Airspace Systems.<\/p>\n

Meet the speaker:<\/p>\n

Marilyn Pearson has held many positions in her career spanning four decades including working as a corporate and commercial pilot, an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector and her current role as CAE\u2019s Global Regulatory Affairs lead. A vocal supporter of inclusion in the field of aviation, she has volunteered for over 15 years with the New England Air Museum supporting “Women Take Flight” to celebrate the contributions of women in the aerospace industry. At CAE, she tackles ground-breaking regulatory challenges in training and licensing pilots, aircraft and training devices in the emerging eVTOL market.<\/p>\n

She has previously been granted the FAA Administrator’s Award for Excellence in Equal Employment Opportunity and the FAA Letters of Commendation for Contributions to Aviation Safety.\u00a0She also\u00a0 received the Hall of Fame Award from Women and Drones for Emerging Aviation Technologies and is Chair of SAE International Committee G-35 Modeling, Simulation and Training for Emerging Aviation Technologies and Concepts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Marilyn Pearson a occup\u00e9 de nombreux postes au cours de sa carri\u00e8re qui s’\u00e9tend sur quatre d\u00e9cennies : notamment en tant que pilote d’entreprise et pilote professionnelle, inspectrice de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne \u00e0 la FAA, et elle est pr\u00e9sentement responsable des affaires r\u00e9glementaires mondiales \u00e0 CAE. Grande partisane de l’inclusion dans le domaine de l’aviation, elle est b\u00e9n\u00e9vole depuis plus de 15 ans au sein du New England Air Museum, o\u00f9 elle soutient l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement “Women Take Flight”, qui c\u00e9l\u00e8bre les contributions des femmes dans l’industrie a\u00e9rospatiale. \u00c0 CAE, elle se consacre aux d\u00e9fis r\u00e9glementaires et r\u00e9volutionnaires li\u00e9s \u00e0 la formation et \u00e0 l’octroi de licences pour les pilotes, les a\u00e9ronefs et les appareils de formation destin\u00e9s au march\u00e9 \u00e9mergent des a\u00e9ronefs \u00e0 d\u00e9collage et atterrissage verticaux \u00e9lectriques (eVTOL).<\/p>\n

Elle a d\u00e9j\u00e0 re\u00e7u le Prix de l’administrateur de la FAA pour son excellence en mati\u00e8re d’\u00e9galit\u00e9 d’acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’emploi et les Lettres de recommandation de la FAA pour ses contributions \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne. Elle a \u00e9galement re\u00e7u le Prix du temple de la renomm\u00e9e d\u00e9cern\u00e9 par le groupe Women and Drones for Emerging Aviation Technologies; et elle est pr\u00e9sidente du comit\u00e9 G-35 de la SAE International sur la mod\u00e9lisation, la simulation et la formation pour les technologies et les concepts a\u00e9ronautiques \u00e9mergents.<\/p>\n
